The Freetown Golf Academy was created in 2014 to encourage young golfers to get involved in our wonderful sport and to develop our next generation of Sierra Leone golfers.

Paul, the Academy Director, and his 4 coaches meet twice a week and work with children from all backgrounds (children of the golfing community, newcomers and underprivileged children who have shown an interest). The children are initially taken to practice range to introduce them to the sport and develop their swing, and when the time comes, they graduate to the golf course to hone their learnt skills.
